It is currently on display at The Power of Innovation: Art Inside the New Energy Age exhibit until November 24, 2011 at the Charlotte Art League gallery. Them, it will be permanently displayed at Siemens' Charlotte location.

Good-bye, Steve

I was saddened to hear of Steve Jobs' passing. I use a Mac, which is the computer of choice for most artists.

He had such an impact on many people's lives, as evidenced by the fact that the Apple home page had this single image (above). No products - not the new iPhone - just a memorial tribute to someone that will be missed. This underscores that success is not just about profits.

I honor Mr. Jobs' memory by posting his quote:

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
